    Default mail identities -- spoof e-mail

    if i enable mail identities for users (on 4.5.1ne) it appears they can setup any user identity , including other users on the system.

    is it possible to restrict the mail identities a user can select

    Default

    Yes, change the COS/Preferences setting to not allow them to "Allow sending email from any address".

    Default Persona - rather than using "

    COS --> Features --> Persona
    might also be useful with or instead of the "Allow sending email from any address" in Preferences.

    This lets anyone with an alias respond as that alias. After enabling, I had to toggle between Std and AJAX versions to see the "Add Persona" button.

    There are some nice options for automatically using Personas too.
