    Default please how to set tomcat variable for JAVA_HOME

    My machine crashed and now I can not restart tomcat in my zcs build all was great before but now zmcontrol status shows tomcat not starting

    on tomcat start attempt I get a variable not set for JAVA_HOME but I can not find where tomcat is located in my Ubuntu dapper server

    please tell me where tomcat is and what command to run to set this variable for JAVA_HOME
    thank you
    PS I have read threads and do not believe this is a mem issue

    Default I fixed it this way

    tomcat would not start issue
    I had to set java_home variable at root user not as zim user
