Default Reseting zimbra_logger_mysql_password

I am having issues with mysql and zmlogger. My system went down hard due to a power outage last week and I noticed that the stats were not updating. I found out the hard way when attempting to trace a message using zmmsgtrace.

In any event, I followed the 'quick' resolution and stopped zmlogger, removed /opt/zimbra/logger/db, and ran /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmloggerinit. However, the result was that the passwords were reset.

Okaaaay, so I followed the wiki on resetting the mysql password, but when I attempt to connect [logmysql mysql -D zimbra_logger -P 7307], I still get a message about a failed password and am unable to get to a prompt to reset.

Might just be easier to start the logger over:
stop logger db (mysql processes)
rm -rf /opt/zimbra/logger/db/data
/opt/zimbra/libexec/zmloggerinit

Default Typo

I found that when I cut and pasted the additional line into mysql.server and logmysql.server there must have been hidden characters. I typed it in by hand and it was fine. The wiki was great.
