    Default [SOLVED] recipient_delimiter problem

    Hi,
I just started testing zimbra. I'm trying to migrate a server from qmail to zimbra. I have used extensions heavily on the old server (for use with TMDA). I'm not planning to use TMDA with zimbra yet, however I don't want to lose the mails coming to all the extension addresses I have used so far. In qmail, I used '-' as the delimiter. I tried to set the recipient_delimiter to '-' by using 'zmprov mcf zimbraMtaRecipientDelimiter -' and restarted zimbra. Now, postconf shows recipient_delimiter is in fact -, however, when I send a mail to an extension, it is being rejected as unknown user.
Do I need to take any additional steps?

Thanks in advance for any help

    Default fixed .. my bad

Sorry, I had a typo when I restarted zimbra and so, I never actually restarted it. It's working fine now after a real restart of zimbra.

    Welcome to the forums though,

    future reference:
    Code:
    su zimbra
    zmprov mcf zimbraMtaRecipientDelimiter +
    zmcontrol stop
    zmcontrol start
Also, add your version information to your profile so we don't have to ask all the time in the future (it makes a difference some times on what commands we give).

    via the command line:
    Code:
    su zimbra
    zmcontrol -v
or in the main search bar of the web-client enter:
    Code:
    $set:get version
http://www.zimbra.com/forums/profile.php?do=editprofile > about halfway down the page 'additional information' > zimbra version blank
