    Default M3-346 problems

I have a couple of minor problems with this upgrade. The first is a bounced email that was a reply to a message in my inbox, the message:
    Code:
3FD9932423F: to=xxxxxxx@dsl.pipex.com, relay=smtp.he1.systems.pipex.net[62.241.163.97], delay=25, status=bounced (host smtp.he1.systems.pipex.net[62.241.163.97] said: 504 LOCAL: Helo command rejected: need fully-qualified hostname (in reply to RCPT TO command))
Nothing has changed on my server apart from the upgrade to this release of Zimbra, I do have a FQDN and hostname returns the correct name.

The other problem is in the Admin gui, on the Global Settings/MTA tab if I change one of the tick boxes then hit save I get:

    Code:
    JavaScript error encountered in method
    ZaxFormViewController.prototype._saveButton Listener

message: this._currentObject.refresh is not a function

    name: TypeError
If I try this a couple of times then Zimbra will lock with the 'clock' timer visible.

What other info do you need for these problems?
    Regards

Do you get the same Javascript error on IE and Firefox?

Seems your ISP SMTP relay is rejecting your relay. Did you ever override/set the host.domain in main.cf?
Looking for new beta users -> Co-Founder of Acompli. Previously worked at Zimbra (and Yahoo! & VMware) since 2005.

No, I get the same message title but this in the data box from IE:
    Code:
    name: TypeError
message: Object doesn't support this property or method
    number: -2146827850
description: Object doesn't support this property or method

That's not my ISP, it's the receiving mail server - I deliver mail from Zimbra directly I don't relay. I haven't changed anything in any of the Zimbra config files except for the listening port to 8080. The previous install of the developer build was a clean install and it delivered OK, this was just an upgrade of that release and it got the rejection. I'll try the message again in a couple of minutes and if it works I'll let you know.
    Regards

    Bill

    Default Error in main.cf?

It seems that the default in the main.cf file is set to myhostname=LOCAL, has this been left in by mistake? Removing it seems to have fixed the problem, the headers were showing MTA = localhost now it shows my correct FQDN.
    Regards

when the service is restarted, myhostname is reset to LOCAL... is there a way to make this change stick?

    Default /opt/zimbra/conf/zmmta.cf

Remove the line with postconf myhostname from /opt/zimbra/conf/zmmta.cf, run the command
    postconf -e myhostname=
    then restart postfix.
