    Default Zimbra on a sub-domain

    I need to change the actual email system of my company.

    I want to start testing Zimbra but don't want to take down our existing Exchange Server 2000, at least until the Zimbra is running without problems.

    Can I configure a Zimbra server to deal only with emails for

    I'm new to zimbra and email servers to, so I appreciate any help that you can give me.

    Here is my email in case of some of you decide to help me:
    My preferred language is Portuguese.

    Welcome to the forums.

    You can certainly use a sub-domain but if you're going to replace and existing server you might want to consider a Split Domain. That will allow you to run in tandem with your current server until you decommission it.
