    Default Logmanagement in Zimbra

    Hello
I've been using Zimbra for a few months now and I must admit I have a hard time tracking down the diffrent logs.

I'm intrested in the logmanagement for Zimbra, is there some way to get plain logfiles for SMTP, IMAP and the diffrent applications, it's simpler for me to look into logs that way.

Also, where can I change how long time things are getting logged? I want to save my logs for atleast a year.

    Welcome to the forums.

Have a look in the wiki for details of the logs available. The logs are pruned via cron jobs, have a look at those.

Where is the pruning documented? It would be very nice to rotate the logs on a daily (or 100k) base, and then simple store them somewhere.
