Default Admin panel showing services down

    Hello,
I have installed Network edition of the new version 5.0GA on RHEL4 X64. I had a couple of issues as I had an older version installed (4.5.9 I believe), the issues were resolved and the install went like glass eventually. Now when I log into the admin control panel area, after the system has been up and running for a couple of days, under the server status area it shows my MTA, Mailbox, Antivirus and Antispam as down, and it shows (data is stale) after ALL of the processes. I click on them to highlight and click refresh and it still shows the same status.

I am still able to send and receive email, but this is problematic. If a portion or process of the system is down, I need a reliable way to know without using some security risk like SNMP to monitor it. Any ideas?

    TIA,

    Scott

What does zmcontrol status show? Also, is /var/log/zimbra.log being updated with service status?

Is the date that it says a very old date or a newer date?

So, yes, the log file is being updated... Anything else I can provide?

have you tried doing a zmcontrol stop and then ps aux| grep zimbra and killing any zombies
    then zmcontrol start again.
I dont know if that will fix it but maybe the monitoring part is out of sync with the rest of the system
