    if the backup is version 5.0.0, install version 5.0.0, restore your backup and then upgrade to 5.0.1. That way any changes to LDAP/MySQL schemas etc are applied to your 5.0.0 installation. If you just install 5.0.1 and then restore the backup things could end up out of sync.

    the trouble begins..

    I have reinstalled 5.0GA.. and did the restore as they pointed how to...

    the first error i got was that the antivirus didnt start(small problem)..

    but when i try to log in as any user other than admin... i get this error..

    i have attched it.


    Please help.. i am going nuts.

    did you run the zmfixperms script after performing the restore ?

    it gave me permission denied for everything..

    i ran it as the zimbra user.
