    Default Upgrade from 5.0 RC2 to 5.0.1 GA Issues (no IMAP now)

    We've upgraded from 5.0 RC2 to 5.0.1 with two minor issues.

    1. imapproxy doesn't start, it tries too...but it looks like it's asking for an SSL certificate passphrase or something. It asks for a password, which it didn't do before.

    2. We can't view what's in the mail queue from the admin console. Mail is delivered, but the Queues section of the admin console produces the following output.

    Server error encountered Message: system failure: exception during auth {RemoteManager: mail.p4performance.com->zimbra@mail.p4performance.com:22} Error code: service.FAILURE Method: GetMailQueueInfoRequest Details:soap:Receiver

    1. Check /etc/sshd_config and be sure it's set to 22
    Code:
    port 22
    2. stop/start/restart sshd
    Code:
    /etc/init.d/ssh restart
    3. su - zimbra
    4. Be sure zimbra's ssh port is set to 22
    Code:
    zmprov ms server.domain.com zimbraRemoteManagementPort 22
    5. Generate new ssh keys
    Code:
    cd /opt/zimbra/bin/
    ./zmsshkeygen
    6. Deploy the keys
    Code:
    ./zmupdateauthkeys
    To test this, you can run the following command:

    ssh -i .ssh/zimbra_identity -o strictHostKeyChecking=no zimbra@server.domain.com -p 22
    -I believe it shouldn't prompt you for a password at this point...then check the admin console mail queues area.

    I've run the requested commands. It seems to have fixed the queue status issue.

    If I try to start the IMAP server, it still promps for a password.

    Hmm...I wonder if this has something to do with why our IMAP and POP are not working. I can't check the box when I click on it.

    I believe I've found the problem.

    According to the wiki, /opt/zimbra/conf/perdition.pem and /opt/zimbra/conf/perdition.key should exist in /opt/zimbra/conf.

    I found this wiki page SSL Certificate Problems - Zimbra :: Wiki which may fix the problem. However, I've come to realize that a lot of the wiki pages are out of date or contain commands that don't exist in 5.0. Can someone verify that this procedure will work as designed?

    We need to get this fixed, but it's a live production system and I don't want to make the issues worse.

    I havent changed anything since my last post, but IMAP and POP are answering. It's very broken though.

    When I telnet to the port, half the time it closes it right after the banner is displayed.
