    Post mailbox backup

    Hi,

I had setup one zcs 4.5 server, in that i have only 10 mailboxes, in that mailboxes cantain total 54 mails.

Now I had setup the another zcs 4.5 server, now i am copying /opt/zimbra/store of previous server to new one

    Inaddition

If I take backup of mysql of previous server and restore it to new one

then new zcs server will work or not for thier 10 mailboxes .

    Regards,
    chandu

    Default

I would setup an imap client, say Thunderbird with two accounts into the two servers and drag the mail from one to another. Another way and maybe more reliable as far as keeping your headers intact would be to setup Outlook to imap into your first server, export the mail into a pst file then use the Zimbra import tool to get them into the second server. I found this is the best way to get a consistent transfer.
