The previous thread I posted came out blank for some reason. I have made some progress since then so hopefully this thread will be more useful.
I am trying to get Zimbra to work on port 8888 so it can be proxied by Apache running on the same server to port 80/443. There are two mailbox servers.
When one mailserver redirects a login to the other mailserver the redirect is on port 8888 rather than the intended port 80. I think I have found the setting I can over-ride to fix the redirects. It is in this section of jetty/etc/zimbra.web.xml.in...
However, if I change %%zimbraMailPort%% to any port number other than 8888 the login screen doesn't redirect to the other mailbox server and I get an error, "A network service error has occurred (zclient/io)," displayed on the login screen.
The http and httpsPort need to be in sync with the webserver
or the proxy - these are the ports that will be used in
Would like to force all redirects generated by Zimbra to port 80 rather than the default port 8888.
