    Default [SOLVED] Lightning and CalDAV

Hi there, I am using zimbra_OE_5.0.2 and would like to connect my calendar to my thunderbird mail client (Lightning) through CalDAV, I have tried to create new calendar into lightning by choosing "New Calendar" -> "On the Network" -> "CalDAV" and enter url address of the calendar in the place of location (https://mail.domain.com:446/home/(username)/Calendar) but its not working. Any suggestion to resolve this issue much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Amit

    Try http:// server.domain.com/dav/username/Calendar instead.

Just an fyi there's also a slight bug in 5.0.2: Bug 24487 - Shared CalDAV calendars not showing entries in Lightning/Sunbird
This will be fixed for 5.0.3. In the mean times, you can still mount the shared Calendar by using the URL that points to the owner's Calendar folder. For example if user A has mounted user B's Calendar folder as BCal, instead of using

    https://server/dav/userA/BCal

    use

    https://server/dav/userB/Calendar

Reports via PM that /dav/ instead of /home/ worked.

Anyway in the same time I search through for CalDAV subject and able to solve that issue by doing https://domain.com:446/dav/(username)/Calendar because I have changed the https port to 446. Hope that help others to understand. regards, Amit

    Question

Got any recommendations for making a pre-existing Thunderbird-Lightning calendar "sync" with Zimbra?

I can get a pre-existing calendar to "publish," butting running through a test scenario or two after that doesn't seem to work too well. Maybe try more later and report back here to be more specific. Until then, any suggestions appreciated.

    I'm using:
    Version 5.0.9_GA_2533.UBUNTU8.FOSS Aug 14 2008

fyi: /home/ worked for me in the "publish" step, /dav/ did not.
