Unhappy annoying redirect loop at user login

    Hi all

we have zcs-NETWORK-3.0.0_M3_436.RHEL4.tgz installed on FC4 and everything works fine for days.
Now we get a redirect loop with firefox when we want to login as user, admin login works fine. 2 posts in the past have had this problem also without getting a solution or a hint here. Nothing is in the logs. Also we can login with Outlook and the installed connector.

On our first try we had this also, after deleting everything related to zimbra and a fresh install it works, but now - see above

    Any help would be great
    regards

Have you tried to clear your cache before login? If that doesn't work try going to Zimbra with ?debug=3 this will popup a debug window and should give you some more info.

Is Zimbra running on port 80 or have you move anything off the standard ports?

    tomcat stop
    tomcat start

i have searched, but what i found is not working. When i change in server.xml 80 to 8080 nothing happens. In web.xml i didn't found something related to port 80 only many ports 8007.
So which settings do i have to made?
I love this answers :-) i also say this sometimes

    Default changing ports

In an effort to make this easier for you (!) we've started to rewrite web.xml on tomcat startup. If you want to change the webmail port from 80 to something else:
    zmprov ms <servername> zimbraMailPort <newport>

    Likewise,
zmprov ms <servername> zimbraMailSSLPort <newSSLport> to change the ssl port.

    Hi again

nothing of your tips works out to change the port to 8080.
If i change with zmprov nothing changed when i do a netstat -an, nothing listens on 8080
When i change the ports in server.xml and web.xml it will listen on port 8080 but i can't login, i get a neverending loading page and nothing goes on.
What can i do additional? Reinstall and choose a port at this time?

    regards

Obviously when you made the change with zmprov you restarted Zimbra, didn't you? Have you upgraded to the GA version? Perhaps you could upgrade and change the ports then.

The tips here do work with Zimbra, there must be something you're missing.
    Regards
