Having done a backup, following the OS instructions (script version in the wiki), the restore fails with broken permissions all over the place.
zmfixperms doesn't seem to work properly.
Since then, we have done a clean install, and have not copied the /opt/zimbra directory back into the new, working install.
What would be the best way to import the mailboxes into the new running install from the un-gzipped directory, so as to lose the least amount of down time?
We have been fighting this for 36 hours, and client is very anxious to get mail back. There are only 5 mission-critical mail users, but one is company owner.
