    Default Address book search

    I'm running 32bit 5.0.2 on rhel5

    When searching the addressbook, or trying to create a group, and add members, the "*" won't bring back any hits. I have to use a letter... "a" "b", etc to get any names to pop up.

    Try a period . (as most everyone has one in their address: user@domain.com)

    symbols only seem to work randomly. letters work consistent. For example, I tried "@" and search about 5 times with no results. Then clicked through a few screens and went back and it worked.

    One more item, it only seems to search from the beginning of the string. So, if I was searching for the name tina@yourdoamin.com the following is my results:

    tina = found
    tin = found
    ina = not found
    com = found
    om = not found
    your = found
    ourdomain = not found

    The first character must be part of the search string or it is missed. I would thing the search works better than that.
