    Default prevent users to send outgoing mail

    hi!
    I use Open Source Edition 5.0.4 (on ubuntu server 6.06)
    is there any setting that prevent any user to send outgoing mail? I mean, I want to a user can send email only my local domain, not other domain.

    In addition to preventing them from sending mail externally (as linked above Restrict sending to certain domains - Zimbra :: Wiki)

    One step further - who can send to those accounts/preventing those accounts from getting external mail: RestrictPostfixRecipients - Zimbra :: Wiki

    Be sure to vote for: Bug 5595 - per-domain send restriction (& even Bug 9620 - Mail policies and access control for sending to distribution lists)
    Make check boxes for:
    -User can send email outside of their domain
    -User can receive mail from outside their domain
    -Additional blank to enter a limited list of domains they can interact with (send to/receive from)

    Default postmap error

    Hi!

    My ubuntu server says:

    The program 'postmap' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
    apt-get install postfix

    if I install postfix by this way, any problem occur? I need postmap to configure sender_restrictions in postfix...

    Postfix is installed as part of ZCS so do not install via apt-get. When you run postmap I presume you were doing it as the zimbra user ?

    oh sorry, yes when I use zimbra user, command worked.

    but now another problem about sender restrictions. I followed the instructions in wiki page. my specific user can't sent e-mail other domain from command line with Telnet, as I expected command returns "Sender address rejected: Access denied". but from Web GUI he can sent e-mail everywhere...

    what can I do?
