    Default zimbra-proxy and SMTP

    Hi everyone.

I've search through the current "bug" about zimbra-proxy but could not find the answer to this question : is zimbra-proxy able to proxify SMTP ?

If the answer is positive, does it work on both TCP25 and TCP465 ?

Yeah, but this documents is for ZCS 4.x: "zimbra-proxy" was "perdition" and it was limitated to pop3, pop3s, imap4 and imap4s.

With Zimbra 5.x, we have NGinx as zimbra-proxy, that is able to proxify these protocols plus http, https and will be (in 5.0.5) able to proxify zimbra-mobile, REST and co.

NGinx by itself is able to proxify SMTP.
However, I don't know if this is implemented in zimbra-proxy.
