    Default Certificate Days???

    The default days in zmssl.cnf.in is 365, but the certificate shows only 90 days.

    What happened in the installation?
    How to make the days 365 right after installation?

    Thanks.

    You'd probably have to recreate the certificate - I'm not sure that you can modify the expiration date on an existing cert.

    Why only default to 365 days?
    Why not create a longer time period before SSL Certs expire?

    setting in file /opt/zimbra/ssl/ssl/zmssl.cnf says:

    default_days = 365

    Would it hurt for me to create a longer cert time, say 3 years or so?

    ( IE: default_days = 1095 )

    Scotty

    edit: Modifing default_days works.
    Though, now that I now know how to create a whole new cert, I am just going to regen a new cert every year for good security.
    Just FYI.
