    Default amavisd-new crashing

    Hi all

    Im having a problem where amavisd crashes and consequently all messages got stuck on the deferred queue due to connection failed on port 10024. While checking my logs, i noticied this:

    /opt/zimbra/bin/postfix reload returned 0000:ERROR: MISSING REQUIRED BASIC MODULES:
    IO::Wrap
    IO::Stringy
    Unix::Syslog
    MIME::Words
    MIME::Head
    MIME::Body
    MIME::Entity
    MIME::Parser
    Net::Server
    Net::Server::PreFork
    BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /opt/zimbra/amavisd/sbin/amavisd line 171.

    Note that, unlike what happens for other people in here, im not unable to start Zimbra. Actually it works flawlessly for long periods of time. This crash happens once in a while and restarting all services or even using zmamavisdctl restart fix the situation.

    Zimbra version is zcs-4.5.9_GA_1454.SuSE10 32bit (Running on OpenSuSE 10.2 32bit). Yes, i know, were already planning an upgrade and yes, i know, ive made a strange mix here.

    Default Server memory

    I think its ok even though i have had some swapping. Its not a big install. The server has 2GB RAM and there are ~150 accounts.

    It's crashing because you're running Zimbra SuSE 10 on 10.2

    If you can upgrade, that will fix your issue.
