    Question Spam Bots

    Hi All,

    our spam continues to increase & l'm pretty sure our -mail address are pulled from our web site. Is it possible to locate these spam bots (?) from the web site access logs

    Any help is appreciated,

    You'll need to obfuscate your email address on your website to stop the bots getting them.

    Unless your server establishes a secure connection with other servers it talks to, and if your clients are not using SSL, all e-mail goes out as plain text. E-mail addresses are harvested as messages are transmitted.

    You can obfuscate but good luck.

    Lots of spam is from botnets anyway, there's really no feasible way to track them.
