    Default Performance 20 000

    Hello,

has anybody experience with using Zimbra for nearly 20 000 users?
What is suitable hardware configuration for this amount?

Most of users will be working with web interface (ajax version prefered), estimated is 1000 concurent HTTP/HTTPS sessions.

And some users will be working with IMAP and SMTP - probably less than 100 concurent connections.

    Thanks,
    Franta.

    Welcome to the forums

Have a read of Performance Tuning Guidelines for Large Deployments - Zimbra :: Wiki as that will provide you with some very useful information.

    Thanks :-)
I have read it, it is useful. I saw, that it is recomended to use 64bit dual core CPU and that RAM is more important than CPU and disk. But i didn't find there how much RAM is needed for X online users. Is it 4 or 8 or 16 GB?

I am now running Zimbra on desktop PC for testing purposes only.
