Default Not able to update files in briefcase in ver 5.0.5

    Hi everyone,

I would like to kindly ask you for help.

Currently using FOSS 5.0.5 on ubuntu 6.06 LTS, everything works fine, updated to version 5.0.5 from 5.0.4, upgrade went fine, no issues ..

However, there is one. One user has reported that he is not able to update his documents in the Briefcase.

He can add / create, delete with no problems, however when he tries to replace existing document in the briefcase, zimbra will ask to replace it, he will confirm, but the file will not be replaced, the old version will stay in briefcase and new one won't get updated.

I am trying to replicate this problem on my own mailbox too so will know more soon.

This particular user has got quite a lot of documents in the briefcase and needs this to work.

    Please, help.

    Many thanks.

Would you be so kind as to check your Log Files - Zimbra :: Wiki for error messages and post accordingly. Thank you.

    Hi Uxbot,

Many thanks for your prompt reply.

I have just been trough some of the logs with no success. I have asked my friend to tell me which file he has tried to replace last time, so I can search in the logs. BTW, which log am I supposed to look at?

I will try my briefcase shortly, however this person reported that the can not replace any of the existing files in the briefcase, he can upload new one, delete old one, etc .. but the system will just not update the same file with new version ...

    Many thanks for help.

That worked okay for me when I just tried. They could be linked, but lets see what the support team says about the Bugzilla report.

Many thanks for submitting the bug, I though it might be a bug, I just wanted to know if somebody else experiencing the same problem.

Version 5.0.4 was ok, this particular issue wasn't there.
