    Default external access

I'm trying to make zimbra available to the outside world for people to be able to access when they are connected locally. My zimbra machine is a vm on the physical machine that acts as my web server & my firewall. So what I did was change my webmail port to 8888 using sudo ./zmprov ms server.example.com zimbraMailPort 8888 and restarted tomcat. My firewall is setup to route ports 25 & 8888 to the virtual machine, but when I try to connect from the outside world I cannot get zimbra though i can get it fine internally using port 8888. Any thoughts on why this wouldn't work?

Have you checked your firewall logs ? Can you telnet to port 8888 from the outside to see if you can even connect to the port ?
