Default bouncing messages from a filter

    Hi,

I have a need to bounce messages with a custom bounce message.

For example, if body contains blah, bounce it back to the sender with:

Sorry, your message contains the word blah. It has not been delivered to the recipient.

Is there a way to achieve this within zimbra?

    Cheers,

    Brad

No, you really don't have a need to do that.

How would you know that you're actually bouncing it to the correct address? Your proposed soltion is just another form of spam. You would be far better dropping messages you don't like or want.

I understand what your saying, but yes, I do. This functionality is not for spam rejection. Maybe my wording gave that impression, but thats not the case... It was an example of the function required.

Think of it as an auto reply for some of my 'friends'. I could put a rule, if body contains blah and from address = blah@blah which is someone I know, send them an auto message back.
I certainly don't want to do this for, say, ****** or anything like that. This would be used in a controlled manner for people I know.

At the end of the day I want to send friends an auto reply, just not ALL of my friends...
