    Default No such account errors in mailbox.log file

    Hello everyone!

    I am having the following problems on my private server with Open Source Edition 5.0.6:

    Code:

    That account was deleted by me yesterday, but it seems that it was corrupted or something. This message appears lots of times in the mailbox.log log. I have tried reinstalling to see if the installer, when verifying the database integrity, could fix that, but no luck.

    Any hints?

    Checked the MySQL tables and could not find any traces of the deleted accounts, therefore I guess those traces must be somewhere else:

    Code:
    mysql> select * from deleted_account;

    | email                          | account_id                           | mailbox_id | deleted_at |

    Unhappy

    It looks like the trace is not in LDAP either:

    Code:
    $ zmprov -l
    prov> deleteAccount joan@zimbra.linuxsilo.net
    ERROR: account.NO_SUCH_ACCOUNT (no such account: joan@zimbra.linuxsilo.net)
    prov> deleteAccount sebastia@zimbra.linuxsilo.net
    ERROR: account.NO_SUCH_ACCOUNT (no such account: sebastia@zimbra.linuxsilo.net)
    prov> deleteAccount raul@zimbra.linuxsilo.net
    ERROR: account.NO_SUCH_ACCOUNT (no such account: raul@zimbra.linuxsilo.net)

    So it seemed to be related to zmlogger. I did this to sort it out:

    sudo su - zimbra
    zmcontrol stop (and checked no processes were left)
    mv /opt/zimbra/logger/db /opt/zimbra/logger/db.bak
    zmcontrol start
    /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmloggerinit
    /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmgengraphs

    I lost information but at least got it working again. No more
    NO_SUCH_ACCOUNT errors. Let's see how it evolves, as I am worried that it has to do with mailboxdctl as well.

    Default Having same problem 6 years later

    I'm suddenly getting the same error. (I can't believe it persists without someone fixing it or telling us how to work around it.) I'm assume this last message of yours contains a clue. Problem is that I have no idea where and how you enter the commands that sorted it out. Could you explain it a bit?

    Thanks
    ron
