Default [SOLVED] blocking by subject or by IP

    Hello,
Can anyone tell me how I can block by suject in salocal.cf and how I would block by IP also in salocal.cf?

I've looked in the wiki and found the stuff about ip but I don't think that is for a specific ip.

I have not been able to find anything regarding blocking by subject, is this even possible?

Thanks for your help in advance

I know you can block by IP using the "access" file in postfix's configuration. The postfix main.cf needs to be edited. That is about all I know but it may get you started.

in this file you can use regex filters:
    /opt/zimbra/conf/postfix_header_checks

folowing line will block subject mails with words: word1 or word2

    /^Subject:.*(word1|word2 )/ REJECT Banned Subject

*postfix man page: Postfix manual - header_checks(5)

    Hello Raj,

Your fix worked and I was wondering if there is a way to keep the banned subject entries through zimbra upgrades so I don't have to keep reentering it into my postfix_header_checks file?

    Thanks!

    P.S. apologies for thread necromancy.
