I installed this great piece of software some days ago on a clean Debian 4.0 box.
I edited the /etc/aliases file to have my mail address in there (which is also hosted by Zimbra on the same box) to receive root's mail (cron jobs, raid monitor etc.).
Whenever I try to send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org it gets bounced with the message "mail loops back to myself".
If I send a message from "the outside", e.g. from another server to root then the mail is delivered correctly.
What is the correct way to set an alias for root which gets delivered to a local account?
Please help me, it is the only gap which keeps me from using Zimbra in a production environment.
