Default LDAP Death with Domain Disclaimer extension

    Hi Guys,
I've installed zimbra 8 times today an cannot get the domain level admin extension running. I used to have it running on my 5.0.2 version but now when i am installing 5.0.9 it really screws things up for me and kills zimbra completely. LDAP wont ever start again and it falls over on startup saying:
    Code:
    [zimbra@mail ~]$ zmcontrol start
    Host mail.XXXXXXXXX.co.uk
    	Starting ldap...Done.
    FAILED
/opt/zimbra/conf/slapd.conf: line 176: index attribute "zimbraYahooId" undefined
/opt/zimbra/conf/slapd.conf: line 176: index attribute "zimbraYahooId" undefined
/opt/zimbra/conf/slapd.conf: line 176: index attribute "zimbraYahooId" undefined
/opt/zimbra/conf/slapd.conf: line 176: index attribute "zimbraYahooId" undefined
/opt/zimbra/conf/slapd.conf: line 176: index attribute "zimbraYahooId" undefined
/opt/zimbra/conf/slapd.conf: line 176: index attribute "zimbraYahooId" undefined
/opt/zimbra/conf/slapd.conf: line 176: index attribute "zimbraYahooId" undefined
Failed to start slapd. Attempting debug start to determine error.
    [zimbra@mail ~]$
Ok so i check out the line its referring to and it says:
    Code:
    index zimbraId eq
    index zimbraYahooId eq
    index zimbraVirtualHostname eq
ok so i go ahead and comment it out but no cigar, it comes back with the same error.
    LDAP is toast.......

Has anyone got any ideas, i've scoured the web, wiki and forums but no cigar?

    Thanks very much,
i got one step further, it then had the same error except this time with a variable called zimbraACE, so i commented this out and it all started up fine, however no Disclaimer extension when i go to the Administration area...
    Any ideas?

Is it just that the disclaimer extension doesn't work on 5.0.9?

    Running Centos 5

Zimbra Domain Disclaimer it's work in other Zimbra versions.

Be careful with zimbra.schema file, because Zimbra Team change it in every version.

    For example (zimbra 5.0.8):

In every version of Zimbra, they change LDAP attributes, and you must to do this change:

    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignatureHTML ZimbraAttrType:656
    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignature ZimbraAttrType:657
    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignatureEnabled ZimbraAttrType:658

    to

    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignatureHTML ZimbraAttrType:756
    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignature ZimbraAttrType:757
    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignatureEnabled ZimbraAttrType:758

Attributes type 656, 657 and 658 is now exist!

Do i need to change the in version 5.0.9

    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignatureHTML ZimbraAttrType:656
    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignature ZimbraAttrType:657
    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignatureEnabled ZimbraAttrType:658

    to

    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignatureHTML ZimbraAttrType:856
    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignature ZimbraAttrType:857
    objectIdentifier zimbraDomainPrefMailSignatureEnabled ZimbraAttrType:858?

When I change the file i get the following error

/opt/zimbra/openldap/etc/openldap/schema/zimbra.schema: line 6703: AttributeType not found: "zimbraDomainPrefMailSignatureEnabled"

    Any ideas?

And can someone explain me how we determine the AttrType?

    Thanks for the help!

yes, you need to use the number which never use.
After that I suggest you to stop and start zimbra
    and test it's again.
