Unhappy Unable to edit any server settings

Since attempting to add a Relay Host to the 'MTA' tab, I am unable to make any changes to the server configuration through the web interface.

This is Zimbra opensource edition, version 5.0.9. Browser is Firefox 3.0.1 on Windows XP.

The error I receive when attempting to save any changes to the server configuration is:
    Code:
    JavaScript error encountered in method
    ZaXFormViewController.prototype.runValidationStack
    Detail reveals:

    Code:
message: E[C] is undefined fileName: https://[server]:7071/zimbraAdmin/js/Admin_all.js.zgz?v=080815134342 lineNumber: 6229 stack: ((void 0))@https://[server]:7071/zimbraAdmin/js/Admin_all.js.zgz?v=080815134342:6229 ((void 0))@https://[server]:7071/zimbraAdmin/js/Admin_all.js.zgz?v=080815...

In IE6, I receive the same error with the following in the "Detail" section:
    Code:
name: TypeError message: 'szAddr' is null or not an object number: - 2146823281 description: 'szAddr' is null or not an object

Any ideas? I seem to be able to change server configuration values from the command line without issue.

    Thanks,

    -Bill

    Welcome to the forums,

Some 5.0.9 admin console bugs it may be:
Bug 30357 – Error when changing server properties (fixed 5.0.10)
Bug 31645 – unable to modify server settings from admin console

You can also run the admin console with ?mode=mjsf&gzip=false on the end of the URL to get a little more info, but that does sound close to bug 30357.

Hello I have this same problem. I have to add a network into the MTA trusted network area and currently cannot do this through the web interface. Is there a way to do this through the cli or a config file. I have subscribed to the second bugzilla ticket which is exactly my problem, but it is yet to be resolved.

To apply that you need to run:
    postfix reload

    Check with:
    postconf mynetworks
