Default ActiveSync Issue - Emailed Contacts and iPhone

Running ZCS network edition 5.0.9 - iPhone sync works phenomenally well, with the exception of the fact that the contacts defaults to "All Contacts" which includes the "emailed contacts" - this is too messy for our end users. They hate having to back up into just the "Contacts" group. Is there a way to prevent syncing of "Emailed Contacts" or simply disable that feature?

I'm looking for the exact same answer. I do appreciate the ability to sync more than one address book, but my "emailed contacts" folder is impossible to keep clean.

From my own experience, it looks like this only happened from iPhone firmware 2.1. Prior to that, only the main contacts would sync.

When I upgraded a few handsets to 2.1 and noticed that 'emailed contacts' were syncing, I just deleted everything in that address book and then disabled the function. I never use it anyway.

When you email someone their email address is recorded automatically, but you can disable this in preferences-composing (I think)

I dont understand the purpose of this function anyway. If I need to know the email address of someone who I've mailed, but I dont have in my main contacts list, then I'd use search and look for them contextually, why would I want to browse a list of hundreds of random emails?

I call for this function to be completely removed

Ok maybe I spoke too soon... I didn't notice before, but my Contacts are sorted into groups (All, Emailed Contacts, and simply Contacts). It had defaulted to All Contacts, which was obviously a mess. I set it back to Contacts.
