My server is setup with a LAN and WAN card. I simply block port 80 on the WAN side. This is the only way I know how to do it.

my server is connected to the LAN and all web queries are forwarded from the firewall.. maybe i can simple tell the firewall only to forward https request to the server.

the zimbra box doesnt seem to be setup to handle a https request to log in to email.. only https to log into admin..

    i am open to ideas.

Why not setting it up to answer to https only (or both http and https) ?
