Default zmmboxsearch - error on ID wildcard

referring to CLI zmmboxsearch (Cross mailbox search - Zimbra :: Wiki)

running the "zmmboxsearch" with the wildcard for accounts, gives me an error message.... not sure why, trying a few different permutations, getting slightly different error messages...

    Hi,

Did you ever sort out this problem? I'm getting a similar error:

Sorry - this was so long ago, I honestly don't recall. It was certainly with a 6.x release (6.0.7?). I'm thinking I abandoned the cmd-line and used the web-admin cross mailbox search feature/GUI....

    good luck

Thanks, it turns out my syntax was wrong:

    zmmboxsearch -m "*" -v -q "testsearchstring"

    Works fine.
