Default limitation for message store volume?

    Dear All,

We're planning a site for ZCS , and according to current data,
the target maximum message store may be growing to around 8TB.

Can anyone advise how could we plan for such environment?

As far as I know that ext3 file system has 2TB limit for each file size,
and 8TB limit for each file system(please correct me, if i'm wrong).

any comment will be highly appreciated..

    rgds,
    Kevin

If you are using the HSM then you can create multiple message storage volumes.

cause we're planning Open Source Edition, and HSM is only available in NE edition.

I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand, did you mean if I add second volume
and set it as "current", then users will not be able to access the previous emails stored in first volume?

The secondary volume is only applicable if using HSM. Recommended btw.
