I'm testing a procedure for disaster recovery. This is what I do:
I use 'rsync' for synchronize the all /opt/zimbra directory from Master Mail Server to a Backup MailServer.
rsync -avvrlHKpogD root@<dest-IP-address>:/opt/zimbra /opt
This is my problem:
- With ZCS stopped on Master MailServer and on Backup Mail Server, I can sync and than stop the Master, change the IP address and /etc/hosts file on the Backup Mail Server, than start ZCS without any trouble.
- If I have ZCS on Master MailServer started (that is what I'll want) and stopped on the Backup Mail Server: I can sync and than stop the Master, change the IP address and /etc/hosts file on the Backup Mail Server, but when I start ZCS on Backup MailServer whit "zmcontrol start" , If I check the log, I can see these error:
zimbra slapd: bdb_db_open: unclean shut-down detected; attempting recovery.
zimbra slapd: slapd starting
Is this a critical error or false positive, due to the fact that the Master ZCS was up?
