Default [SOLVED] Have zimbra never delete mails

    Hello,
was just wondering if there is a way to have zimbra always have the mail (for archiviation pourposes); and not have it delete when the users get them from their pop3 ...

And no; having them switch to imap is a solution i cant take ...

    Any suggestions?

You can't stop a POP3 client from deleting an email.

That would depend what you're trying to achieve and whether you're talking about ZCS and whether it's nE or OSS or the Zimbra Desktop

Basicly, because my users are drones, they click on something not knowing what they click, but they know it works like that.
So yeah, its nice to have a webmail, but they also want their mails on the computer, and i cant have their views on that change. afaik it isnt possible to make a imap client look like a "pop3" client ... also; the mails have to be always available offline for them ... was thinking of making them check the "dont delete mail from the server"; so it will also always be available on the webmail ...

Perhaps you should get them to use the Zimbra Desktop instead of their current client? You should be aware that it's currently beta. Getting the user to use the "dont delete mail from the server" is good but, of course, someone won't do it and lose their email. If you're using the Open Source version of Zimbra (and it's a single server) and want an archiving facility then search the forums for 'mailArchiva', it will archive all inbound and outbound mail - that might achieve what you want.
