    Default Can we use single email id with mutiple users

    Hi
    I am based in India.
    Please let me know if I can use one single email address with my multiple users.
    Presently I have only one emailid like customersupport@domain.com
    which if one downloaded by one user in his Outlook other user is not able to download it.
    Also if one employee send the reply to one email of my customer, then the other employee is not able to view that reply.
    I think the exchange server can provide some solution for it.
    Your guidance will be highly appreciated.

    It would help if you updated your profile and let us know which version of ZCS you are running
    Code:
    su - zimbra
    zmcontrol -v
    You could setup a generic account for that email address and then share it out to all your other users ?

    I have yet to install Zimbra or any other exchange server. I would like to know if installing the exchange server and then create a generic email id like customersupport@domain.com will help me in this problem.

    I am still very new to exchange server concept but what I have read I think that they can help me in using one email address with multiple users

    So do you want to use Zimbra or Microsoft Exchange server ? Very different products indeed and not to mention different vendors

    Smile Distribution list

    1. In Zimbra Admin Console, Create a distribution list, support@yourdomain.com, and add each internal support agent to that list. this takes care of all support personnel receiving the incoming e-mail.
    2. cc support@yourdomain.com on replies, and responses will also be sent to all users on outgoing mail.

    3. (optional) Ask the fine folks at Zimbra how they manage their support e-mails using one incoming support e-mail address. They may have a better solution
