    Default Disaster Recovery

    I am running Zimbra open source on RHEL server , I want to alocate identical server with the same configuration and setup in 10km distance from my production site, what do i have to do to duplicate this server , which files and folders should i keep sync between the 2 servers .

    i.e the 2 servers have identical hostname but differnt ip in order to mke regular sync between them.

    profile updated, Can I have more input regarding my problem.
    can i do copy rsync /opt/zimbra between 2 servers

    Yes you can but you would need to stop ZCS first so that the services are in a consistent state.

    Facts:
    -The DR Server will be all the time offline, and will iclude all mail boxes of users
    -The online and the DR have different operation OS RHEL5 64bit and Cento5
    64bit
    - The production allocated on separate LVM the DR on a filesystem under /
    - Both are used as internal server (Intranet) no-routable for outside

    Am thinking to use rsync command to sync both servers
    any recommended script for this issue
