Default Is outgoing mail virus scanned by default?

I've read various docs that imply outgoing email gets virus scanned, but it isn't totally clear.

Can anyone confirm that, in the default setup, all email passing through the Zimbra MTA, regardless of where it came from or is going to, gets virus scanned and blocked if a virus is found.
