Indeed we've third party mobile sms server which will continuously fetch data from the mail server database and inform the user via mobile sms.

sorry for the late reply...actually we do have other services implemented via sms server from a third party.the thirdparty api in (windows xp) continuously fetches data from the db server in our network and send it via sms to specific users.the database is connected via odbc and access is used as the backend.

I believe that was what an attorney would term a non-responsive answer.

Exactly what API are you provided with to send SMSs? Tell us that, and we'll tell you how you can do your notify's.

    Hi all,
    Did anyone resolve this problem?
I want to config Zimbra system to send SMS alert to a specified number when message arrived. We have a SMS modem, can connect to mail server by COM or ethernet. Any solution?

    Regards,
