    Default Spam Whitelist?

    Running v5.0.13 - open source on Ubuntu 8.04. Following the guide on this site adjusted the percentages for Spam reject and deletion to block out more spam - it is working satisfactorily as less spam is ending up in the inbox & junk folder, however, there are a couple sites that are now being deleted that I would like to receive without opening the whole thing back up. Haven't been able to find anything with regards to creating a "whitelist". Is this possible and could someone point me in the right direction on how to do it?

    Thanks

    It is possible. Here's how I do it.

    Adding a domain or user to a black or whitelist is done on the following file:
    /opt/zimbra/conf/salocal.cf

    Example;

    whitelist_from *@yahoo.com
    whitelist_from user@company.com

    blacklist_from sea@lab.com
    blacklist_from *@mcribstatus.com

    After modifying salocal.cf, you must restart Amavis to take effect.

    Code:
    zmamavisdctl restart

    I should have mentioned to make a copy of salocal.cf before alteration just to be safe.

    You should actually make the change to salocal.cf.in as salocal.cf will be overwritten when ZCS is restarted. And as raj has pointed out when you upgrade your salocal.cf.in will be overwritten with a new version to keep a copy of any changes you make.

    Default modified salocal.cf and update?

    I have the same problem, but If I modified the salocal.cf, my Zimbra is gonig to updated??, i dont like to update zimbra for the moment, Is possible to add domains to my whitelist and dont update zimbra?

    My domain is EMPRESA.COM, if I add the same domain EMPRESA.COM to the whitelist, Im going to have some errors? this is because 2 or my accounts 1@EMPRESA.COM and 2@EMPRESA.COM send email to me 3@EMPRESA.COM and outlook send this email to the bulk

    Thanks
