    Question [SOLVED] sender_bcc_maps Not Receiving Mail :-<

    Am setting up an Archive account on our Zimbra 5.0.6 FOSS for legal reasons. For incoming mail I set up a simple forward to a 'archive' using the Admin Console (Edit account->Forwarding->Forwarding Addresses hidden from user.....) that works great.:-> Issue is on the 'sender_bcc_maps' it does not seem to be sending 'sent' mail to it.
    Here is what I did:

    Code:
    /opt/zimbra/postfix/conf created a file called sender_bcc
    and added
    @domain.com archive@domain.com

    /opt/zimbra/postfix/conf/main.conf I added sender_bcc_maps = hash:/opt/zimbra/postfix/conf/sender_bcc

    then run as zimbra user
    postmap /opt/zimbra/postfix/conf/sender_bcc

    postfix reload

    zmcontrol stop/start
    Am I missing something?

    Default More Info

    After letting this config run for a few days now here is what I have found.

    All incoming mail to all Office users is going to my Archive account without any issues. This is done by putting a 'Blind BCC' address using Zimbra Admin console.

    Outgoing User mail sent from Zimbra Web Interface is being Archived properly. <yea!>

    New outgoing mail sent from Thunderbird IMAP client *is not* being Archived.
    Mail that is responded to using Thunderbird IMAP client *is* being Archived....

    In our Thunderbird SMTP Server setting I have the Zimbra box listed so it is going that route out. I know this may be more of a Thunderbird question as that appears to be the issue, however am I missing some setting in Zimbra to capture outgoing IMAP mail?

    Thanks!

    Another oddity.....If I send mail out using Outlook 2003 IMAP as client instead of Thunderbird 2.0.0.21 IMAP client it goes correctly into the Archive account.....This is getting rather odd......Anyone out there have any ideas on why Thunderbird is acting this way?

    Default

    Got it....In our Thunderbird setups I had a 'bo-bo'.... I had under Account Settings->Default Identity->'E-Mail Address'
    jsmith@domain.com
    instead of
    jsmith@zimbra.domain.com <-Actual Server Address
    Changed all of those in my clients and all is well with Thunderbird sending new mails to my Archive account. :->
