Default A user on more then one mailstore.

Is there a way to have a user on more then one mailstore? What I am thinking is using GFS across the mailstore connected to a SAN. This way there is no downtime if we lose a mailstore or can take a mailstore down for maintance without having to failing over to a backup mailstore.

Not today. Zimbra treats the mailstore as a single data store and uses cluster (active/passive) with disk RAID for redundancy.

Is there any future plans of adding this?

Not in the sense your asking for. You just need to think about redundancy a little bit differently. We may add replication to the mailstore's at some point for disaster recovery, but it's not on the short list today.
