    With a POP3 server, there's nothing to migrate except the user accounts themselves (usernames and passwords).

    All the message data is stored on each individual's local computer; nothing is stored on the server. That's the whole point of POP.

    Just create the accounts on the Zimbra server, and you're done.

    (If user's really want, they can connect to the Zimbra server via IMAP and drag/drop or copy/paste their messages from their local computer back up to the server.)

    With this result :

    $RCSfile: imapsync,v $ $Revision: 1.267 $ $Date: 2008/10/07 11:36:02 $
    Here is a [linux] system (Linux correo 2.6.15-1.2054_FC5smp #1 SMP Tue Mar 14 16:05:46 EST 2006 i686)

    IO::Socket::SSL
    Digest::MD5 2.36
    Digest::HMAC_MD5 1.01
    Term::ReadKey

    and the module Mail::IMAPClient version used here is 2.2.9
    Command line used :
    /usr/bin/imapsync --nosyncacls --syncinternaldates --host1 localhost --authuser1 root --password1 2301derco --user1 mrojas --host2 mail.congresodegeologia.com --authuser2 root --password2 adesiy2k --user2 mrojas@dercoperu.net --noauthmd5
    Turned ON syncinternaldates, will set the internal dates on host2 same as host1.
    TimeZone :[PET]
    Will try to use LOGIN authentication on host1
    Will try to use LOGIN authentication on host2
    From imap server [localhost] port [143] user [mrojas]
    To imap server [mail.congresodegeologia.com] port [143] user [mrojas@dercoperu.net]
    Can not open imap connection on [localhost] with user [mrojas] : IO::Socket::INET: connect: Conexión rehusada

    You can't use imapsync. There's no e-mail to migrate. POP3 servers don't store the mail on the server. It's all downloaded to the user's computer.

    All you have to do is create the user accounts on Zimbra, and configure the user's computers to access Zimbra instead of the old POP3 server.

    If they have existing email that they have not retrieved then from with the ZWC (Zimbra Web Client) you can also setup a external collection account.
