    Default Unable to send from outlook using port 465

    Hi Zimbra,


    I am unable to successfully send a message using port 465. I always get this message on outlook

    Code:
    Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
    I can see the client trying to connect but I don't know what is going on in the background.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Also is there anyway zimbra can send encrypted emails to other mail servers.

    Seems you are using Outlook and you dont have On the Advanced tab of your client, enable This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) for the SMTP server.

    If you are talking of PGP then you need to wait for futhur release.
