Default [SOLVED] Mailbox quota wont update

    Release 6.0.2_GA_1912.RHEL5_64_20091020161509 CentOS5_64 FOSS edition.
    --

I am having an issue with a few users that when I change them to a different class of service it does not reflect the change in the email quota I see on the screen. I changed a user to a package that has 2000mb but after saving I still see:

    3.072 MB of 1500 MB

I tried to change another users class and it reflects the change in quota just fine.

See if the quota is definied manually in these users.

fsoares beat me to it but that is what I would guess is the problem as well. Check that the Advanced tab -> Account Quota attribute doesn't have a "Reset to COS Value" button by it.

Thank you very much. The problem was exactly that, it was manually set in that user and I simply reset it to COS value and it shows 2000MB now.

Is it possible to reset the quota to COS value with a command from the CLI?

I have to do this for more then 100 accounts so it would be a little unconfotable to do it from the web interface.

    Thank you

Hey, this can be done but it's not straightforward (took me some time to figure out :). Magic trick is to remove zimbraMailQuota attribute. But you have to supply current quota for it to work.

So you can first parse it (eg. from zmprov ga) or set it to some predefined value, like so:

    Code:
    zmprov ma user@domain zimbraMailQuota 0
    zmprov ma user@domain -zimbraMailQuota 0
    HTH
