Default [SOLVED] Zimbra.log has a different time zone than ubuntu mail server

    Hello,
I reinstalled complete ubuntu server 8.04.3 LTS and replaced new installation of zcs-5.0.18_GA_3011.UBUNTU8 (Open Source Edition) with old backup /opt/zimbra. I've done this whith rsync -avpK /opt/zimbra.
I have problem with zimbra logs (mail.log, zimbra.log, mailbox.log, etc). There is time difference of 6 hours between system logs and zimbra logs. My original time zone is CET (Central European Time).
    #Example:
    Tue Nov 24 12:11:02 CET 2009

    And my zimbra.log time is:
    #Example:
    Nov 24 06:11:29 mail postfix/qmgr[7810]: B86BC403953: removed
    Nov 24 06:11:52 mail postfix/smtpd[9316]: disconnect from mail-bw0-f228.google.com[209.85.218.228]

I've already checked in zimbraAdmin Class of service > Default > Preferences > Calendar options: Time zone (GMT+01.00) Belgrade / Bratislava / Budapest / Ljubljana / Prague

Do you have any solutions for my strange problem? Where can I look for time zone in Zimbra? Everything else is working very well.

    Thanks in advance

Moving this to the Administrators forum as this has nothing to do with Zimbra Desktop.

Are all logs in the system "6 hours off", eg /var/log/messages? Zimbra just uses the system logging facility...

All logs in the system are "6 hours off".
    #My /var/log/messages

I solved my "6 hours off" problem with system log /var/log/messages when I restarted /etc/init.d/sysklogd

I've tried to change zmprov mcf zimbraLogToSysLog TRUE (from default FALSE to TRUE) and zmloggerctl restart:
    zmloggerctl restart
    Stopping mysqld...done.
    Starting mysqld...done.
    Stopping logswatch...done.
    Starting logswatch...done.
    zimbra@mail:~$ zmcontrol status
    Host mail.agroupm.com
    antispam Running
    antivirus Running
    ldap Running
    logger Running
    mailbox Running
    mta Running
    snmp Running
    spell Running
    stats Running

but I've still have a "6 hours off" problem with my /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log or /opt/zimbra/log/audit.log

    Finally, problem is solved.

1.You need to reconfigure tzdata on Ubuntu server:
    dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

    2. Than you need restart zimbra server:
    zmcontrol stop
    zmcontrol start
