Just looking for a little guidance on having SNMP traps trigger my Zimbra services to restart, if necessary.
I have a couple Zimbra servers, 3.1.3 on CentOS, and would like to do service monitoring/restart/etc using the SNMP traps that generated by the swatch process. I understand I'll have to configure the SNMP traps that are generated in the /opt/zimbra/snmp/conf/snmp.conf file. I guess the biggest thing is I'm not sure what software I should use to capture the SNMP traps and cause the Zimbra processes to restart, etc. I started playing around with Monit, which seems really great, but I already have Swatch trolling through logs generating traps, so why not use that.
Any advice/guidance on this greatly appreciated.
