    Exclamation [SOLVED] ssl cert

    I get the following while running /opt/zimbra/bin/zmcertmgr verifycrt comm /opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/commercial/commercial.key /root/certs/commercial.crt /root/certs/commercial_ca.crt

    gives me the following error.

    ** Verifying /root/certs/commercial.crt against /opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/commercial/commercial.key
    Certificate (/root/certs/commercial.crt) and private key (/opt/zimbra/ssl/zimbra/commercial/commercial.key) match.
    purpose] [-crl_check] [-engine e] cert1 cert2 ...
    recognized usages:
    sslclient SSL client
    sslserver SSL server
    nssslserver Netscape SSL server
    smimesign S/MIME signing

    The error makes it sound like the commercial_ca.crt is in the wrong format or got corrupted. Can you paste of contents of it here? Make sure it has the BEGIN CERTIFICATE and END CERTIFICATE lines at the top and bottom.

    I checked both of those CA certs and they are both corrupted. Try to download them again from your SSL provider. You should be able to decode each one here if they aren't corrupted: Certificate Decoder - Decode certificates to view their contents
