Unhappy [SOLVED] service zimbra starting slow

    good night,

I'm new to this forum and I'd like to help me with this problem.

from a few days ago I noticed that zimbra takes up to 2 hours to start completely.
zimbra server is virtualized with KVM in Red Hat.

Hi lufermalgo, welcome to the forums.

Any part of the process in particular that takes much longer than the rest?

How's I/O and memory usage on the host?

hi y@w... thanks for your help

to start the services I see that the Ldap starts fast, logger is about 30 minutes, then the other started it up when it reaches a mailbox, there remains another 45 minutes after arriving at MTA is another 45 minutes and then terminated.

Hmm that sounds painful to watch..

What are the specs of the physical host?

Also, watching /var/log/zimbra.log will give you a better idea of what's happening while it's starting.

    hi,

I found the problem ... the server reboot or shutdown the system sends the stop signal to zimbra, this apparently for all services correctly, but left in the path / opt / zimbra / log / multiple files. "pid", trying to climb back zimbra this stays for 2 hours beginning ....
I could do is manually delete these files now! why not delete these files? I do not know yet.
